Abstract

This study examined into the connections between life satisfaction, emotional regulation, and substance use among individuals engaged in drug consumption. The aim was to understand how life satisfaction and emotional regulation contributed to the patterns of substance use and the overall well-being of drug users. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing validated measures to assess life satisfaction, emotional regulation strategies, and substance use behaviors. Participants included individuals from diverse backgrounds who self-identified as drug users. Data was collected through surveys and analysed using statistical techniques. The findings from this study shed light on the complex interplay between life satisfaction, emotional regulation, and substance use, offering insights into potential interventions and support systems for improving the well-being of individuals struggling with drug use. Islam places a strong emphasis on safeguarding one's physical and mental health. Drug misuse puts a person's health at serious risk because it is dangerous and addicting. This research has the potential to contribute to the development of targeted interventions and policies aimed at promoting healthier coping strategies and enhancing life satisfaction among drug users.
