The Islamic State of Madinah: An Examination of the Modern-day Islamic Welfare State Paradigm

Abstract

At the time of Hazrat Muhammad's prophecy, there was no Islamic state. For thirteen years in Makkah, he focused solely on individual reform and characterization. By his tireless efforts, he cultivated a group of individuals with exceptional character and distinguishing characteristics. Following this, he moved to Madina and built a welfare Islamic state based on monotheism, brotherhood, peace, and harmony, as well as the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. This state provided equality, justice, and protection for its citizens' rights. It was completely peaceful and harmonious, and it attempted to build good relations with other nations. Because of the best norms and policies of the Madina State, Islam's message of success and peace extended successfully to its various parts. As a result, its domain grew day by day. The success of the Muslim administration is due to its adherence to the Madina State's norms. These guidelines and standards are sufficient for complete achievement in this life and the next. In the state, there will be complete peace and concord, socioeconomic success, and a scene of brotherhood sympathy.This article provides a brief overview of the Madina State, as well as the Islamic Welfare State's norms and regulations, as well as the concept of an Islamic Ideal State.
