Abstract

<p "text-style-align:justify">Islam being the complete code of Life, it not only encompasses the Religious, Political and psychological aspects but also covers the socio-economic aspects of human life as well. Unfortunately today’s Muslims have deviated from the right path of Islam, thus deprived woman and other inheritors from inheritance under the garb of contemporary rituals and customs. In this Article it is investigated that how woman and other inheritors had been deprived from inheritance in Jahilliah, and how they are deprived in contemporary and civilized world in the name of invalid rituals and customs. It is found that in our Pakhtoon society we are not disseminating the inheritance as per divine rules, resulting disharmony and chaos in the society. Through effective legal mechanism the rights of inheritance of the deprived segment of the society can be insured.

Key Notes: Inheritance, contemporary rituals, deprivation of woman, widows, Pakhtoon society etc.
