Abstract

This paper intends to compare the characteristics of members of Pakistani Parliament with the principles of consultation (Shūrā). The political system is based upon the good performance which has central linked with mutual consultation. It is important to know the modes of accomplishment, exercised in this regard. This analytical approach asserts to know that is there any commonality, harmony or discord and conflict between the fundamental principles and ways of action of Islamic concept of consultation and ideologies of Pakistani Parliament. This study finds that there are some differences as well as concordance amid the doctrines of both . To enhance our current prevailing system we have to adopt the universal principle of Islamic Shūrā. This may bring a positive change based upon reality. It may uplift the political system leaving impacts upon various other walks of life. Hence, it is required to exercise political system in accordance with Islamic code of consultation (Shūrā) along with other routine matter of daily life.
