Abstract

It is well known that Sahih Bukhari is the most authentic and reliable book after Holy Quran. Even there is an unavoidable increase in the number of Islamic scholars who are arguing that every hadith in Sahih Bukhari is right and true and also there is Ijma/ consensus about it. Although there were some Islamic scholars who disapprove of this argument and criticize it in terms of text and sanad. Some hadith of Bukhari were rejected based on contradiction to following, Quranic verses, famous Sunnah, Ijma, wise reality, Historical facts and Sharia rules. One of these narrations is the narration of Amr Ibn Maimoon regarding the stoning of monkeys, which he rejected as irrational and against the Sharia. In this article, we will critically describe the objections raised against the narration and the answers given by the scholars. This discussion is based in the light of sayings and views of Islamic religious scholars.
